This past year the Ocean Isle Inn has played host to online Twitter Parties, Tweet-Ups and even our own Social Media Moms Conference and several bloggers have written about us. Now things are getting even better!  We are pleased to be the first area hotel to start our own Featured Bloggers and Ambassadors Program.

Each month we are hosting a different Featured Blogger and sharing their story with you. In turn they are sharing their experiences at the Ocean Isle Inn with their readers.  Last month (October) our featured blogger was Jennifer James, founder of the Mom Bloggers Club.

Damage in Brunswick County from Tropical Storm Hanna appeared minor at daybreak Saturday as area town and power officials began to assess the situation.

Town officals from Ocean Isle Beach have reported that there has been no sign of significant damage to structures along the beach other than some minor flooding. It was estimated that about 25,000 homes lost power in the middle of the night however the majority of households had their power restored before daybreak.
