29th Annual North Carolina Oyster Festival

It’s Fall again and that can only mean one thing - time for the annual North Carolina Oyster Festival. This year will mark the 29th anniversary of the festival celebrating the mighty mollusk. Each year over 45,000 people attend the Oyster Festival. Hosted by the Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce, this year’s event will be October 17-18. The Oyster Festival will take place on Ocean Isle Beach next to the Museum of Coastal Carolina.

The 29th Annual North Carolina Oyster Festival is a weekend of fun filled family activities. There’s live music, arts & crafts, a road race, surfing contest, kid’s area, food stands and of course, the Oyster Shucking competition and Oyster Stew Cook-off.

8:am – 5K and 10K Run
