Early Season Vacation Accommodations for the Best Easter

Easter At The Bridge

The Old Sunset Beach Bridge will be holding Easter on the Old Bridge on Saturday, April 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. This is a special event for everyone regardless of age. The afternoon’s activities include an Easter Parade, sack race, Easter egg hunt, egg roll, and face painting – just imagine the photo opportunities! Admission is free and all are invited to attend. To sustain visitors after they have hopped, egg rolled and danced the bunny hop, Old Bridge Preservation Society volunteers will provide ham biscuits, decorated cupcakes and beverages to visitors free of charge.

Wilmington Easter

In Wilmington on Eagles Island there will be a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt Carnival in Battleship Park on Friday, April 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Children will enjoy the pony rides, eggs, bounce houses, candy, games, and the Buddy, The Battleship Easter Bunny! Egg hunts will be continuous throughout the day. Make sure to bring your camera and take pictures with Buddy the Battleship Bunny. Offered again this year is a slower paced hunt area for kids who need a less stressful environment or for children with special needs who choose a slower paced environment. Price is $5 per person, children 2 and under free. #1 Battleship Road, Wilmington.

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for ages 10 and under on Saturday, April 4 beginning at 10 a.m. at Bill Smith Park, 4410 Fish Factory Rd., Oak Island. The hunt will be divided into the following age groups: 3 & under, 4-6, and 7-10. Free event.

Ocean Isle Church for Easter Sunday 2015
