Turtle Watching in Ocean Isle Beach
Between the months of May all the way through October, visitors to the shores of Ocean Isle Beach can enjoy watching baby sea turtles hatch from their protected nests and make their way into the water.
Local resident, Gloria Hillenburg, is known as “The Turtle Lady” of Ocean Isle. She holds lectures every week about these beautiful animals at the Museum of Coastal Carolina. While on your Ocean Isle Beach vacation at the beautiful Ocean Isle Inn, make a visit to the “Turtle Lady.” This Ocean Isle local attraction is a great activity for families with kids of all ages.
